Home Testing for Early Years Practitioners 

On 2 February 2021, the First Minister announced that it was their intention for those who work in schools, and those who work in early learning and childcare settings attached to schools will be offered ‘at-home’ testing twice a week.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19): safer businesses and workplaces guidance came into effect on 9 August 2021 and aims to support business and workplaces to reduce the risk of COVID-19. This replaces the ‘Organised Activities for Children’ guidance which has now been archived by the Scottish Government.
