The Care Inspectorate has published a new practice note for early learning and childcare (ELC) settings aimed at maximising the positive experiences of younger children.
‘Growing my potential: Promoting safe, responsive, nurturing care and learning experiences and environments for babies and young children aged 1 and 2 years’ can be used by settings, including childminders, already providing for children aged one and two, and those considering expanding their ELC provision to include children aged one and two or those increasing the number of children they care for.
