The first ever International Day of Play will be celebrated across the world on 11 June, following a resolution at the United Nations passed earlier this week.
The aim of the day will be to champion play, raise awareness of the need to protect children’s right to play, and to emphasise its positive impact on development, physical well-being, and happiness.
