Realising a Rights-based Approach in ELC

We are delighted to offer another chance to join Carolyn Wills, education lead at the WOSDEC (West of Scotland Development Education Centre). This interactive, one-part CPD session is aimed at colleagues working in all ELC settings. It will give you an opportunity to:

• develop your professional understanding and confidence in the UNCRC, the language of rights and some of the debates which can arise
• understand how children’s rights and the UNCRC relate to key policy documents
• take part in activities to help deepen your understanding of what this can look like in ELC settings
• hear examples of what this can look like in practice

This FREE event is presented by WOSDEC,  with many years experience of supporting colleagues across all sectors of Scottish education to develop their skills and confidence in Global Citizenship and rights-based approaches in practice.
