A new continuous professional learning (CPL) portal for the childcare profession has been launched.

The portal, delivered by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and funded by the Scottish Government, aims to benefit the profession in a number of ways including bringing together online training resources from a range of partners for the first time, providing a single point of access to those training resources, and including key training modules developed by Scottish Government in response to feedback from the sector.

The Minister for Children, Young People and Keeping the Promise has launched the portal in a video on X (formerly Twitter), also thanking childcare professionals for their wonderful work in supporting Scotland’s children and families.
