Early Years Practitioners (EYP) Support (Volunteer Role)
What this role entails
Supporting the Early Years Scotland EYP at Stay, Play and Learn sessions within community and school settings.
What’s involved?
- Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all children and families.
- Supporting children and their families to relax and engage with each other.
- Assisting the EYP to provide facilitated play and learning opportunities involving parents/carers and their children.
- Assisting the EYP with setting up and clearing away resources and play equipment at the start and end of sessions.
- Good role modelling as part of being an ambassador for Early Years Scotland.
