Early Years Scotland team members Leahan Edmonds and Susan Hogg completed a 200km sponsored cycle on Saturday 7 October to raise funds to buy resources for our work with young children and families affected by parental imprisonment.

Leahan braved the persistent, heavy rain to cycle from Edinburgh to Bowling, while Susan put in an exhausting shift to notch up 101km on a stationary bike.

Leahan and Susan both work as Early Years Practitioners delivering our prison based services, and their efforts have raised over £1,000 to buy the much needed resources which will help give children visiting parents in prison the most positive learning and family experiences
