Early Years Scotland is one today!
Early Years Scotland is one year old today (24 February). On this day last year the Scottish Pre-school Play Association (SPPA) became Early Years Scotland at a launch event in Scaraway Nursery School in Milton, Glasgow.

'Play out of hours' toolkit published
As part of the national Play Strategy, the Scottish Government has produced 'Play out of hours: A toolkit for the use of school grounds for playing out of teaching hours' - a resource designed to help head teachers, parent councils and local organisations to work together to consider making school grounds available to local children out of teaching hours.

Leading the way for early learning and child care
