The Early Years Division: Children & Families Directorate at the Scottish Government has asked Early Years Scotland to let our members know that a consultation seeking the views of current and anticipated future use and needs of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) data has been finalised and the online version is now live.
We have been requested to encourage engagement from colleagues/networks/contacts that have an interest in ELC. It is essential that views are gathered from as many people as possible so a complete understanding of need is obtained, and consequently recommended changes are practical for all settings.
The consultation can be accessed here.
The closing date for responses is 6 January 2016.
It would be very much appreciated if you could take the time to respond. Full and considered responses will be most useful to enable the Scottish Government to make informed decisions. This is an important piece of work; findings from the consultation will be instrumental in the development of ELC data sources going forward.
If you need any further information, or would like a Word version of the questionnaire, please contact Sara White by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
or by calling 0131 244 2353.
