PlayTalkRead is calling for all parents and carers of young children across Scotland to vote for their favourite activities in their local area.
Voting is easy – simply visit www.playtalkread.scot/30things, select your region and cast your vote from the play, talk and read activities listed. Inspired by the popularity of the 30 Things To Do Before You’re 3 list, the 30 Things To Do local lists have been created with the help of parents across Scotland, so are truly BY parents and FOR parents. Not only can you have your say for your local area, but you might discover some fun new ideas too. All participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a bumper box of PlayTalkRead prizes worth £250.
PlayTalkRead encourages parents and carers of young children to incorporate playing, talking and reading more often within their daily routines. You don’t need lots of toys or extra equipment, it’s all about enjoying time together. Playing, talking and reading together more often can give children the best possible start in life and lay firm foundations for their long-term learning, behaviour and life chances.
www.playtalkread.scot has loadsof ideas for fun, simple and free activities to enjoy together. Once the results are in, we’ll share a treasure trove of the top things to do in your local area, as voted for by parents
and carers across Scotland.
