Jean steps down from EYS and into semi-retirement
Posted in News on Wednesday, 29 January 2020
Early Years Scotland Chief Executive, Jean Carwood-Edwards, is to step down from her post after six hugely successful years at the helm of the organisation.
Jean has decided to retire from full-time work to spend more time with her family. She will leave on Friday 28 February and will mark the occasion with a celebratory ceilidh that evening for friends and colleagues at Cottiers Theatre in Glasgow's West End.
Early Years Scotland is delighted to announce that Jean's successor will be the current Depute Chief Executive, Jane Brumpton, who has worked alongside Jean both at Early Years Scotland and previously with Education Scotland. Jane will take up her post on Monday 2 March.
