Children’s authors and illustrators have put pen to paper for Epilepsy Action’s National Doodle Day. Their scribbles will go under the hammer in a three- day eBay auction, starting on National Doodle Day, Friday 5 February, to raise funds for the charity.
There are doodles from Shirley Hughes (Dogger), Anne Fine (Madam Doubtfire, Flour Babies), Dave McKee (Elmer the Patchwork Elephant and Mr Benn), Jez Alborough (Eddie and the Bear), Guy Parker-Rees (Giraffes Can't Dance), Nick Butterworth (Percy the Park Keeper) and illustrators Anita Jeram (‘Guess How Much I Love You’) and Korky Paul (Winnie the Witch).
A whole host of other big names (including Olivia Colman, Bill Nighy, Miriam Maygolyes, Toby Jones, Jessica Hynes) have submitted doodles also. All of the doodles can be seen here
