Edinburgh to host major international early years conference

Edinburgh to host major international early years conference Delegates from around the world will descend on Edinburgh for an international Early Years & Childcare conference, being held in the Scottish capital from 22-25 July 2015. 

The conference, which will celebrate the best in early learning and childcare practice, will be launched by the Minister for Children and Young People and will welcome speakers from a diverse range of disciplines covering academia, research and practice.

Speakers include:

Professor Tina Bruce CBE, one of the UK’s foremost experts on early education; 
Baroness Susan Greenfield, neuroscientist, writer and broadcaster
Suzanne Zeedyk, Research Scientist 
Marjorie Ouvry, Consultant in Early Years Education and author 
Chris Williams, founder of Mr Andrews Online

There will also be workshops on Messy Play, Inspired Play-based Learning, Creative Arts in Early Childhood, Enhancing Children’s Learning and Development, Mindfulness and many more key themes.
