Early Years Scotland a finalist in training and development award Early Years Scotland has been selected as a finalist in the Training and Development category in the Scottish NMT Nursery Awards 2017.

The Award in Training and Development is given to outstanding businesses/organisations, nurseries or individuals who are seen to be making an exceptional contribution to enhancing training within the childcare sector.

Early Years Scotland was nominated for its Fathers' Programme in Scottish prisons. The Fathers' Programme involves an EYS Early Years Practitioner working directly with fathers to support early attachment, bonding and an understanding of their children’s development, including the importance of play.

Winners of the Scottish NMT Nursery Awards 2017 will be presented with their trophies by Cat Harvey at the high profile Gala Night held on Friday 1st September at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel, attended by 400 guests.
